About us

The Neighbourhood Spot Community Center aims to assist young people in the neighbourhood of Cote-des-Neiges and its surroundings to seek coherence between the various aspects of their lives and to become builders of their communities and agents of positive social change.

Our operating principle is the acknowledgement of the oneness of mankind; that we are all interconnected and must learn to overcome our prejudices and live together in harmony. We strongly believe that young people aspire for spiritual and intellectual growth and to make a contribution to the betterment of the world. Our experience has shown that one of the most effective ways in which older youth can be of service to their communities is by helping those younger than themselves and empowering the next generation to become active agents of social change.
